Free Help Now Available for Women in Crisis Pregnancies
By calling 888-4-HOPE-4-1, (888-446-7341), confidential, free help is now available for women and families in crisis pregnancies in Northern Lake County.
Project Gabriel is a network of Catholic churches standing together in their commitment to offer immediate, practical assistance to women and families facing crisis pregnancies. Through the program, Project Gabriel volunteers, called "angels," provide ongoing emotional, spiritual, and material support to women and families facing a difficult or crisis pregnancy.
Creative advertising for the Project is provided by bumper magnets and stickers, which have been distributed at local Catholic churches. These attractive moving advertisements proclaim to those in the community that hope and help is available. They read, "Pregnant? Need Help? Please call us: 888-4-HOPE-4-1"
The Northern Lake County Project Gabriel is part of Chicagoland Project Gabriel, which also provides help in DuPage, Northern and Central Will, and Northern Cook Counties. Chicagoland Project Gabriel is co-sponsored by the Archdiocese of Chicago, the Diocese of Joliet, and Woman's Choice Services, a pregnancy center headquartered in Lombard, Illinois.
